I've been to the mountain

Ritigala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka's northern province, is steeped in legend and mythical history.

Ancient monks, noted for keen insight, austere disciplines and artful ayurvedic healing skills, were the doctors and teachers of their day.

 A GOOD DAY FOR A DRIVE

Sriyani and I observed our anniversary the other day. I decided to treat her to a jeep ride to celebrate the occasion. Our driver said he knew of a road with a good view. I said, well let's go. It turned out to be a good idea.
