We attended the last home game for the Seville team. They won in a great match 4-3 against the Catalonians from Valencia...

Everyone went home happy, even some Huskers.

FLAMENCO!

We scored big in Seville! Following our leads and some great advice, we were so fortunate to see one of the best Flamenco dancing shows in town. These artists were stunning! A passionate blur of exquisitely refined sensuality is the best way I could describe it...wonderful rapport between musicians, singers and dancers...

All of the girls traveling with us had an instant crush on the guitar player...that is until the male dancer showed up.

ALHAMBRA y GRANADA

We took a little side trip to the Alhambra right up the hill from Granada on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range...
A lot of history and real pretty country, especially this time of year, make for lots of interesting people and interested tourists. Count me in...

MALAGA, SPAIN...

It’s been a long time since I was last in Malaga, a sweet (not so little anymore) seaside town on the coast of southern Spain.  Half the students we are travelling with are ready to settle down here. The birth place of Pablo Picasso, Malaga is rich in history and culture with a laid back flavor all it’s own…pretty touristy, but definitely a nice place to visit… 

The weather, light and atmosphere here is inspiring!

GOOD GOLLY, MISS MOLLY!!!

It's been a long winter and a chilly spring in this part of the country, so as the colors are returning I've been feeling like it's about time to lighten up a bit...

 I needed some help trying out a new high key lighting setup and I had a feeling Molly Johnson would be a perfect model for the job. She is one of my former photography students and as you can see, Miss Molly is mighty effective on the other side of the lens as well. She has some great looks and was a lot of fun to work with. A beautiful spring day actually turned out better than we could have asked for or imagined...

CRAMMING!

I've agreed to accompany a group of UNL students on an upcoming trip to Spain... 18 girls, Sam and me! What was I thinking? Actually, it's a great group and everyone's stoked! The emphasis will be on photography and writing skills. MAYAN PRINCESS...

 I recently had fun shooting with good friend, pretty Pati Osorio...a true El Salvadorian original. We nailed it!

Pati loves God and loves people and is a joy to be around. She spends her days working with kids with special needs...a very special kind of person.
And at the end of the day, she still has energy to train for her next marathon...
Oh, those Mayans!
